Shanmugam Amirtham Memorial Trust is a social welfare organization and its Aims and Objectives are

• To render financial assistance and educational scholarships to the poor and disadvantaged
• To provide monetary assistance and social services in case of natural calamities
• To help and assist poor and deserving people in marriage.
• To set up operate school and colleges
• To render assistance to orphan, indigent and other less previledged children for their subsistence. Shelter, education and medical care and to establish social welfare institutions engaging in promoting this specific objectives.
• (f) To render assistance to the Differently abled.
• (g) To help and assist other charitable causes of a similar nature as aforesaid as the trustees may from time to timechoose
• (h) Promote the welfare of the deprived members of community especially for women and children
• (i) Finally Encouraging and Promoting the knowledge of the society people.

All the Aim and Objective is carried out  irrespective of age, caste , creed and region.
